I have a powerful passion for the craft of doing hair. I love to make anyone look and feel beautiful. Making other people feel great is only part of the satisfaction I get from being a hairstylist. Winston Churchill said it best, " We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give." I am such a giver! I live to see other people happy. I really enjoy my clients and am honored to have the opportunity to not only make them look amazing, but to relate with them and develop close relationships.
One gift that I feel makes me a great hairstylist is I am an artist. I have an understanding for color due to my ability to paint and drawing life like objects.That is what translates in my mind to visualize a haircut before I create it. I perform many different services but mostly, I love to cut hair. There is something about the shaping of hair and making it appear different that facinates me. I love how you can strategically place hair to compliment color, face shapes, or facial features. I love cutting sassy conservative cuts, but have been educated on how to do many different styles for all types of hair.
Another area of my job I love is the opportunity to educate and inform my clients about products to use. I absolutly love, love, love the products we offer. My favorites are the Gentle shampoo and Super Rich conditioner from Bumble and Bumble, Absolut Repair from L'Oreal Professionnel, and the Style Prep Smoother from Aveda. Not all clients can use these but I think they are amazing!
